MINUTES
FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING
OF THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF ORLAND HILLS, ILLINOIS
FOR JULY 16, 2008
President Hastings called the hearing to order at 7:56 p.m.
Acting Clerk Daly called the roll with the following results. Present: President Kyle Hastings, Trustees: Diggs, Gnech, Hanley, Million, Morrison and O’Neill, Administrator Daly. Absent: Clerk Burke.
President Hastings announced that the purpose of the hearing was to provide public input to the Appropriations Ordinance being considered by the Village Board at the Regular Board Meeting, later this evening. President Hastings asked the Administrator to explain the Appropriations Ordinance.
Administrator Daly explained that the Ordinance had been on file in the Clerk's Office since June 13, 2008. He further explained that proper legal notice had been published in the Daily Southtown newspaper. He then explained that the Appropriations were the same as the prior year. He then explained that the Finance Committee reviewed the Appropriations and approved recommendation, thereof, on July 8, 2008, at the regular monthly Committee Meeting.
Mayor Hastings asked for input from the Village Board, and none was offered.
Mayor Hastings asked for input from the Public at 7:57 PM and none was offered.

Mayor Hastings asked for input from the Public at 7:59 PM and none was offered.
There being no further business, President Hastings requested support of a motion to adjourn the hearing at 8:00pm. Motion by Trustee Gnech, Seconded by Trustee Morrison Ayes: Trustees: Morrison, O'Neill, Diggs, Gnech, Hanley and Million. Nays: None. Absent: None. MOTION CARRIED- HEARING ADJOURNED.
